Mark Wells is not new to personalized, handcrafted goods. Since his very first job at a lumber yard when he was 15, Mark has continued with his passion for creating and building for over 20 years. 

For 13 years, Mark served as a Pinellas Park Police Officer. In addition to his duties as a patrol officer, he also served as a SWAT Operator & Assistant Team Leader, Field Training Officer, Defensive Tactics Instructor, School Resource Officer, and a Narcotics Detective. He officially retired from Pinellas Park Police Department in December 2019 and decided it was time to take a tremendous leap of faith to make his lifelong passion a reality; he launched Sawdust Fanatic, LLC.

Today Mark can be found designing and creating in his fully-capable workshop in Myakka City, Florida, where he lives with his wife, son, and daughter. He enjoys a good challenge and is eager to tackle any creation, big or small.  Friends and customers from all over bring Mark their ideas for projects and are over-to-moon excited when their dreams come to life. Mark is a master at creating extraordinary, polished pieces that will be cherished for years to come.
